LSU Transition Advisory Team, Student Experience Subcommittee to Meet Tuesday
BATON ROUGE – LSU’s Transition Advisory Team and one of its sub-committees, the Student Experience Sub-committee, will hold meetings on Tuesday, Feb. 19, in the Abell Board Room of the Lod Cook Alumni Center. The Transition Advisory Team will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Student Experience Sub-committee will meet from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Transition Advisory team, a 10-member panel tasked with providing information to the LSU Board of Supervisors to facilitate the reshaping of the LSU System, is meeting for the third time. The team held its first meeting on January 8 and held an Immersion Workshop on February 7.
The Student Experience Sub-committee is meeting for the first time and will focus on access and opportunity, support for student success to improve graduation rates as well as workforce and career opportunities, service learning, student financial aid and improving student recruitment and enrollment efforts.
