Louisiana State University Eunice
Louisiana State University Eunice is a comprehensive, two-year University of the LSU System, which provides quality educational offerings and programs primarily to residents of Acadiana and to the Southwest and central regions of Louisiana. The University addresses the needs of these communities by providing transfer programs, occupational education degree programs, enrichment, and remediation.
As an SREB Two-Year 1 institution and as a SACS/COC Level 1 institution, LSU Eunice provides both associate and certificate programs as well as comprehensive developmental education services. LSU Eunice’s associate degree programs in nursing and allied health are key providers of licensed health care professionals to rural and regional health care facilities. LSU Eunice is also the statewide provider of undergraduate instruction in Fire and Emergency Services outside of metropolitan New Orleans.
As a member of the Center for Adult Learning in Louisiana (CALL), LSU Eunice provides adults throughout Louisiana the opportunity to earn a college degree online in criminal justice or fire and emergency services through distance education technology. The University maintains open admissions and offers no upper level undergraduate or graduate level courses. LSU Eunice has historically served as a multipurpose residence center of LSU A & M. Through cooperative agreements with other Louisiana four year/graduate higher education institutions, LSU Eunice provides opportunities for its area citizens to access additional, upper-division courses and credentials.
