Communications

 

The Office of Vice President for Communications and External Affairs reports directly to the System President and the LSU Board of Supervisors, serving as the primary spokesperson for the LSU System to local, state and national media. The Office of Vice President for Communications and External Affairs is responsible for:

• Coordinating communication efforts and strategy among system campuses and hospitals
• Serving as a communications liaison to other System offices, including Governmental Relations, Academic Affairs, the Senior Executive Vice President for Administration and Finance and the General Counsel
• Managing media strategy and analysis for the System office, System President and Board
